Frank James Tekavec

Frank James Tekavec, 75, of Streetsboro, passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2010 in his home. He was born on April 29, 1935 in Crucible, Pennsylvania to the late, Frank A. and Annie (Pribula) Tekavec. Frank resided in Streetsboro for most of his life and was a plant supervisor for R&T Fence Inc. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Elva Mae (Ball) Tekavec of Streetsboro; step-daughter, Donna Smith; sons, Rod (Ruth) Tekavec of Solon and Jim (Kim) Tekavec of Hartville; grandchildren, Chelsey, Kristi, and Dena Tekavec, Mark (Jennifer) Skonieczny, Matthew, Rachael, and Maria Tekavec, and Debbie (Bob) Komph; great-grandchildren, Alicia and Kristina Komph; sister, Joanne Rugan; and brothers, Gary and Ron Tekavec. In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his brother, John Tekavec. Cremation has taken place. A memorial to celebrate Frank's life will be held on Friday, October 29, 2010 at 6:30 PM at Rod and Ruth Tekavec's  home, 7234 Castle Pine, Solon, Ohio 44139.
