Frank Tipton, Jr.

Frank Tipton, Jr. 84 of Streetsboro died Tuesday, July 31, 2018. He was born August 4, 1933 in Somerset, PA to Frank and Margie (Miller) Tipton. Frank was a US Navy veteran, worked as a millwright for Chrysler and was a member of the Shriners, Grotto and Streetsboro American Legion #685. Survivors include his children Darlene (Jeff Garlitz) Tipton of Streetsboro, Jerry (Mary) Tipton of Mantua and Dean Tipton of Mexico, 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and a sister Maryetta Mowl of Washington, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Evelyn J. in 2016, son Terry Tipton, grandson Travis Tipton, 4 sisters and 2 brothers. Calling hours will be from 10 AM until time of funeral services at 11 AM Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel. Reverend William Snyder will officiate. Cremation will follow the service. The family would like to thank The Avenue of Aurora and Serenity  hospice for their kind and compassionate care. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or The Shiners.
