Fred A. Baldwin

Fred A. Baldwin,  58 of Ravenna formerly of Mantua passed away Saturday July 25, 2015 at University Hospitals in Cleveland.  He was born June 1, 1957 in Cleveland, Ohio to Fred S. and Janice (Anderle)  Baldwin.  Fred has lived in Ravenna the past seven years and was formerly of Mantua.  He was working for Brown-Mackie College as a Regional Vice President and at one time worked for the Aurora Police department and was an Associate Professor at the University of Akron.  Fred had a love of baseball, playing in his younger days and when he got older enjoyed coaching and watching baseball.  He also loved to travel especially going to Holden Beach, NC.  He was preceded in death by his mother Janice Baldwin and his son Colby Baldwin.  Survivors include his children Fred Baldwin, Jr. and Kara Baldwin both of Ravenna, his father and step mother Fred and Judy Baldwin of Twinsburg, his siblings James (Terrie) Baldwin of Willoughby, Jane (Chuck) Shea of SC, Donna (Mike) Saunders of Medina,  his step siblings Jerry Fioretti of Madison, Pat Fioretti of New Philadelphia and Lisa Virzi of New Hampshire.  Calling hours will be held from 3-8 Pm Wednesday July 29, 2015 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Streetsboro Chapel where funeral services will be 10:00 AM Thursday July 30, 2015.  The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Crestwood Youth Baseball.
