Frederick L Berry

Frederick L. Berry, 69 of Ravenna passed away Thursday August 24, 2017 at UH Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio.  He was born August 6, 1948 in Detroit, Michigan to John Willis and Lottie (Polk) Berry, Jr.  Mr. Berry has lived most of his life in Ravenna and was the retired owner of FM Packaging.  He was a member of the Ravenna Elks and was a Ravenna City Councilman at large.  Survivors include his children Marc (Margaret) Berry of Stow, Kimberly Tonkovich of Streetsboro, Kristina Berger of Twinsburg his grandchildren Malayah Miranda, Nicholas, Clifton, Oliva, Jackie, his mother Lottie Mae Berry of Ravenna, his siblings  Shelby (Evelyn) Berry, LaBena (Michael) Fleming, Kenneth Berry, Albert Berry and his pet  and best friend Laci.  He was preceded in death by his father John Willis Berry, Jr, his brothers John Berry III and Michael Berry.  Calling hours will be 2-4 and 6-8 PM Friday September 1, 2017 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes, Inc.  Service of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Saturday September 2, 2017 at Immaculate Conception Church Ravenna, Ohio with Reverend Mr. Timothy Defange officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery Ravenna, Ohio.  Condolences and memories of Fred may be shared with his family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com
