 
  
 Frederick Merle Gray II of Streetsboro passed away Sunday, March 4, 2012 at his home. He was born September 6, 1923 in Uniontown, PA to the late Frederick Sr, and Jennie (Stewart) Gray. He served with the US Army during WWII where he received the Combat Infantryman Badge, Rifle sharpshooter, Asiatic - Pacific Theater Ribbon with 2 Bronze Stars; Good Conduct Ribbon; and World War II Victory Medal. Fred was a member of St. Joan of Arc in Streetsboro, and the Knights of Columbus, in Maple Hts.  Survivors include his children, Lou Ann Gray, Fred (Kay) Gray, Glen (Marlene) Gray, Rick (Linda) Gray, grandchildren, Trinity, Fred, Adam, Matthew, Brittany, Rick, Ryan, Sam, Carter, Melanie Jordan, Kevin (Megan) Jordan, Gregory Harris, Gretchen Harris, Gerard Harris, and Gillian Harris, great grandchildren, Christopher and Leah Jordon, Grace and Giuliana Lynn, sisters, Janet (Kenny) Murray, Beverly Raines, and God daughter, Heather Kulish.  Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, whom he married in 1956,  Ann Frances (Pistone) Gray who died in 1996, and a brother Ron Gray who died in 2011.  Calling hours will be held Tuesday, March 6, 2012 from 11:00 - 2:00 PM and from 4:00 - 7:30PM when we will have a Funeral Service with Father Fred Pausche all at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel, 9781 Page Road Streetsboro, Ohio. Burial will be at a later date in All Saints Cemetery.
