Frederick J. Haney, Jr.

Fred J. Haney, Jr. 75 of Streetsboro, passed away Saturday February 19, 2022 at Select Specialty Hospitals in Akron, Ohio.  On February 5, 1947 Fred was born in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Frederick J. and Isabelle (McVeigh) Haney, Sr.  Living in Streetsboro most of his life, Fred had attended St Joan of Arc Church in Streetsboro and retired from Tri County Concrete in Twinsburg where he worked as a truck driver.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Fred Haney III and one brother.  Survivors include his wife Judith A. (Arent) Haney whom he married October 17, 1998, his daughter Carol (Scott) McGrady, his step daughter Cindy (Michael) Horner, his grandchildren Heather, Josslyn, Scott, Jr., Freddy IV, his great grandchildren Taylor, Jazabella and five brothers and one sister.  Calling hours will be 5 to7 PM Friday February 25, 2022 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Streetsboro Chapel where funeral services will be 10:30 AM Saturday February 26, 2022.  Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery Twinsburg, Ohio.  Condolences and memories of Fred may be shared with his family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
