Gary S. Jones

Gary Steven Jones,  65 of Ravenna passed away Saturday February 20, 2021 at UH Portage Medical Center in Ravenna, Ohio. Being a lifelong Ravenna resident he was born in Ravenna, Ohio on July 18, 1955 to the late Halley Rivers and Opal (Murphy) Jones.  Gary was the owner and operator of Rivers Garage and Body Shop in Ravenna.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Herald Lee Jones.  Survivors include his wife Vicki S. (Bachtell) Jones whom he married April 16, 1977 his sons Michael Steven Jones and his wife Nancy Ann, David Lee Jones and his girlfriend Ahreiah Mahomes.   Calling hours will be 11:00 AM to 12 PM on Wednesday February 24, 2021 followed by PRIVATE family services at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel. (MASKS ARE REQUIRED AND SOCIAL DISTANCING PLEASE BE OBESERVED). Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park Ravenna, Ohio.
