Genevieve (Yaros) Cade

Genevieve "Genny" Cade 78 of Ravenna passed away Monday December 20, 2010 at the Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach, Florida.  She was born August 13, 1932 in Ravenna, Ohio to the late martin and Agnes (Ohniski) Yaros. Genny has spent most of her life in Ravenna, Ohio but spent her winters in Daytona Beach, Florida.  She had worked for 27 years at the Record Courier as a teletype setter and than worked for the Kroger Company in Solon, Ohio in advertising until her retirement.  Her hobbies were golfing, dancing, working in her yard and playing cards. Survivors include his son Daniel (Bonnie) Cade of Liberty Township, Ohio, grandchildren Melanie S. Cade of Lebanon, Ohio, Andrew S. Cade of Liberty Township, Ohio, sister Helen (James) Greene of Maineville, OH and longtime      companion and friend Roy Martin.  In addition to her parents,  she was preceded in death by her husband Rodney M. Cade and siblings Walter Yaros, Frank Yaros, Stanley Yaros, Martha Headley, Mary Drowenga and Rose Anne Calhoun.  Calling hours will be from 12:00 AM until time of services at 1:00 PM Tuesday December 28, 2010 at the Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel with Rev. Bill Snyder officiating.  Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery Ravenna, Ohio.
