Geraldine F Michael

Geraldine F. Michael 95 of Rootstown passed away Monday, March 16, 2026 at Danbury of Tallmadge. She was born June 25, 1930 in Kent, Ohio to Norman and Ruth (Carl) Weiss. Geraldine was a member of the First Congregational Church UCC in Rootstown and had worked as a secretary for Rootstown Middle School. Survivors include her children Susan (David) Madlock, Jill (David) Fiser, Jeff (Debra) Michael, Greg Michael and John (Cheri) Michael, 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gary and 1 grandchild (Austin). A memorial celebration of her life will take place at 11:00 AM Friday, March 27, 2026 at the First Congregational Church UCC, 4022 State Route 44 in Rootstown, Ohio. Rev. Susan Woodall will officiate. Burial will follow in Homeland Cemetery in Rootstown. In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to the First Congregational Church UCC, PO Box 127, Rootstown, Ohio 44272.
