Gladis J. Thornhill 77 of Shalersville passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at Robinson Memorial Hospital . She was born January 29, 1934 in , Three Forks, WV. To the late Frank and Medie (Bailey) Gibson. Gladis enjoyed shopping for shoes, watching humming birds, gardening, word puzzles and spending time with her family. Survivors include her daughters, Rachel (Ronald) Ferrari of Hinkley, Paula (Oscar) Quinones of Ravenna, Sandra (George) Negrich of Shalersville, sons, Donald Totten of Maple Heights, Roger (Barb) Thornhill of Orange, brothers, Frank Jr, (Diane), Pat (Kathy) Gibson both of Lyburn, WV. 13 grandchildren, and 24 great grandchildren. She was preceded by her husbands, Robert Forest Totten, Paul Edward Thornhill, daughter, Nillie L. Totten, brothers, James, Nathan, Basil and Okey Gibson. Calling hours will be held from 2-5 PM Sunday, April 3, 2011 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel. Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Monday April 4, 2011 with Rev. William Snyder officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery , Shalersville, Ohio following the service.
