Glenn James Campbell, Sr.

Glenn James Campbell, Sr. 78 of Kent, left this world and entered eternity Wednesday, April 20, 2022. He was born September 10, 1943 in Cheswick, PA to Alfred Levi and Mary Venetta (Atkinson) Campbell. Glenn was a member of the Ravenna Assembly of God, a former Royal Ranger Commander, member of the Buick Club of America and the Frontiersman Camping Fraternity. He was a plastics extruder for Filmco/Berry Plastics in Aurora. Survivors include his children Barbara (Jeff) Palladino, Glenn, Jr. (Maura) Campbell, Tim (Melissa) Campbell, Bryan (Wende) Campbell, Dean Campbell, Travis (Laura) Campbell, Joshua Campbell, Judith Andersen and Chrissy Kelly, 22 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and sisters Betty Johnson and Mary Blakeley. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Barbara A. on Nov. 16, 2020, grandchildren Amanda Grace Campbell and Cory Joseph Campbell and siblings Raymond, Donald and Dean Campbell and Doris Peters. Calling hours will be from 5 - 8 PM Monday, April 25, 2022 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel and from 10 AM until time of funeral service at 11 AM Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at the Ravenna Assembly of God Church in Ravenna. Burial will follow in Standing Rock Cemetery in Kent. In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to the Ravenna Assembly of God, 6401 State Route 14, Ravenna, OH 44266.
