Glenna Jeanie Pellegrini 74 of Ravenna passed away Monday, October 21, 2013 at Robinson Memorial Hospital. She was born March 26, 1939 in West Virginia to the late Robert and Catharine (Cook) Brown. Jennie enjoyed crafts and her dogs, Mazy Mae and Bambi. Survivors include her daughters, Donna Stover of Brunswick, GA, Cheryl McClure of St. Petersburg, FL, Janie (J.F.) Thompson of Akron, Dreama (Cleve) Daughertery of St. Petersburg, FL, Marjorie Whetsell of Cuyahoga Falls, sons, George McClure, Scott Whetsell both of Akron, sisters, Wanda (Clair) Williams of CA, Judy Thomas of VA, Brenda (Doug) Bainbridge of VA, brothers, Dale (Charlotte) Brown of Ravenna, Charles (Helen) Brown of VA, Elbert "Bo" (Sissy) Brown of Ravenna, 17 grandchildren, Jennifer, Christy, Denver, Zach, Stephanie, Geneva, Huey, Robert, Katherine, Jennifer, James Jr, John, Colton, Christina, Misty Dawn, Jeffery, and Robin, 32 great grandchildren. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Pellegrini, sons, John David McClure, Kevin Whetsell, sisters, Lura McGiluray, Barb, and Patricia, brothers, E.F. "Bacon" Brown, Benjamin "Benny" Burton Brown, and one granddaughter, Gina. Calling hours will be held from 6 - 8 PM Thursday, October 24, 2013 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel where the Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 25 , 2013 with Rev. Cleve Daughertery. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Park following the service.
