Gregory Dean Jones

Gregory Dean Jones 55 of Ravenna, passed away Saturday November 26, 2011 at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna.  He was born September 24, 1956 in Akron, Ohio to the Wilbert and Josephine (Bailey) Jones.  Greg has lived in Ravenna the past 30 years and had worked for Hudson  City Schools as a maintenance man.  His family thought of him as a jack of all trades considering him a workaholic because of him working several jobs.  Survivors include his wife of 31 years Sheila (Sweet) Jones,  son Mark (Cheryl) Jones of Ravenna, daughters Jamie (Jamie) Simms of Parma, Ohio, Jessica Jones of Ravenna, four grandchildren, brother John  Jones of Doylestown and sister Sharon Anzaldi of Cuyahoga Falls.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Carolyn  Weglage.  Calling hours will be  Wednesday November 30, 2011 from 4-8 PM  at the Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Homes Streetsboro Chapel where funeral services will be  11:00 AM Thursday December 1, 2011 with Rev. Larry Marshall officiating.  Burial will follow the service at Grandview Memorial Park Ravenna, Ohio.
