Hans Johannes Solterbeck

Hans Johannes Solterbeck 83 of Ravenna passed away at his home Sunday, August 10, 2014. He was born February 3, 1931 in Alt Bennebek, Germany to the late Johannes Claudius, and Anna Catharina (Thomsen) Solterbeck. He has lived in Ravenna the past 20 years coming from East Liverpool. He retired from Crucible Steel in Midland, PA.  Hans will be missed by his sister, Ann C. Black of Alt Bennebek, Germany, nieces and nephews, Mike Solterbeck, Kathy Solterbeck, Monica Savage, all of East Liverpool, and Maria Broderick of Bellaire, Ohio. Besides his parents  he was preceded by brothers Erich and Helmuth Solterbeck.  Cremation has taken place and no services will be held.  Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
