Harry "Bob" E. Grimm

Harry (Bob) E. Grimm, 81, of Ravenna passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020, at University Hospitals of Cleveland.  He was born August 15, 1939, in New Brighton, PA to the late Harvey and Grace (Measel) Grimm.  He resided in Ravenna the past 52 years and was a retired bus driver for PARTA.  He was a veteran of the US Army serving with the Armored Division in Germany.  He was also an Army National Guardsman and a member of the Ravenna VFW Post 1055.  Serving on many leagues through the years, he was an accomplished bowler and achieved an induction into the Bowling Hall of Fame for “High Series Score.”  He was also a skilled golfer and enjoyed his time on the course most when it was spent with family. He was a lifelong diehard, devoted, and proud Steelers fan, a passion he passed on to his sons.  He was a loving husband, father, and “pappy” who will dearly be missed.  Survivors include his wife of 57 years Dolores A. (Stockdale) Grimm whom he married December 30, 1963, his sons Scott (Devin Sheets) Grimm, Bobby (Shawn Andrews) Grimm, his grandchildren Linda Grimm, Alex Grimm and his siblings Patricia Elia, Jack Grimm, and Barbara Hostetter.  Calling hours will be Friday, December 18, 2020 from 2 PM until time of funeral services at 3:00 pm with Don Kainrad officiating at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel.  Family requests that all visitors please wear masks.
