Harvey L. Johnson

Harvey L. Johnson 73 of Streetsboro died Sunday, November 1, 2015. He was born June 14, 1942 in LaGrange, Ohio to Harvey W. and Lou Emma (Soy) Johnson. Mr. Johnson was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War and retired from Operative Plasters and Cement as a cement mason. He was a member of the Masons Local # 109 in Akron. Survivors include his daughters Jeanine Johnson of Ravenna and Theresa Johnson of Norton, son Harvey (Marie) Johnson of Ravenna, 4 grandchildren and a brother Willard Johnson of Glenn Willow, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Jeanette Johnson in 2012, sisters Joyce Winngates, Rea Panovich, Cora Vaughn, Beverly Smith and Lois Hill and a brother Donald Johnson. Calling hours will be from 6 – 8 PM Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel. Funeral services will be at 11 AM Thursday, November 5, 2015 at the funeral home with Reverend William Snyder officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Streetsboro.
