Heber Canterbury

Heber Canterbury 85 of Streetsboro, passed away Thursday October 27, 2011 at his residence.  He was born June 23, 1926 in Noama, West Virginia to the late Thomas and Mary Catherine (Hendricks) Canterbury.  Mr. Canterbury has lived in Streetsboro since 1965 and retired from LTV Steel in Cleveland as welder.  He was a veteran of the US Army serving in WW II.  Survivors include his children Michele Azuddin of Streetsboro, Deidre (Dale) Parr of Shalersville, Dara (Peter) Klemenko of Felton, Delaware, three granschildren, and brother Glenn Canterbury of Naoma, WVA.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Lucille in 1996,  brother Thomas and sisters June, Esther, Gladys.  Calling hours will be Monday October 31, 2011 5-8 PM at Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Homes Streetsboro Chapel where funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday November 1, 2011 with Marc Offenburger officiating.  Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery Streetsboro, Ohio.
