Helen E. (Fedorchak) Gilly

Helen Eileen Gilly of Ravenna passed away peacefully with her loving family at her side on Sunday, August 24, 2014 at the age of 95. She was born February 18, 1919 in Youngstown, Ohio to Michael and Anna (Bosko) Fedorchak. Helen married Arthur Joseph Gilly on April 8, 1942 in Monterey, California and  they were blessed with 57 years of marriage.  Helen enjoyed quilting, sewing, cooking and baking for her family.  She and Art joined their friends at the Italian American Club to cook many spaghetti dinners. Helen was a Ravenna resident for most of her life and attended Immaculate Conception Church. Loving memories of Helen will be carried on by her daughter JoAnn (Kenneth) Townend of Rootstown, sons Arthur L. (Frances) Gilly, Stephen Gilly and Mark (Debi) Gilly all of Ravenna; granddaughters Carrie (Kris Honeck) Gilly, Tabatha (Daniel) Dunlap of Huntsville Texas; grandson Matthew Gilly of Ravenna; her great-grandsons Nathan, Nikolus and Levi, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Arthur in 2000, sisters Irene Rebic and Ann Cariglio and brothers Steve, Michael, George and Andrew Fedorchak.
