Helen C. DiPaola 92 of Ravenna passed away Sunday, February 2, 2025 at Tamarack Ridge in Brimfield. She was born July 18, 1932 in Brimfield to Harry and Edna (Glass) Garl. Helen was a lifelong resident of Portage County, a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Young at Heart and the Infant of Prague. She retired from GE lamp plant in Ravenna. Survivors include her children Carolyn (Steve) Stout, Laura (Randy Long) DiPaola, Carla (Hank) Trocchio and Michael DiPaola, 5 grandchildren Katy Stout, Anna (Bruce Pasco) Trocchio, Paul(Alexa Hamilton) Trocchio, Adam (Dominique) Trocchio, and Christopher Long. 8 great grandchildren Gianna Giulitto, Kayleigh and Bryson Pasco, Kameron Kawa, Evelina and Viviana Trocchio, Henry and Lily Trocchio. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Carl in 2008 and Siblings Nellie Livingston, Betty Meloy, Edwin Garl, Marvin Garl, Thelma Garl, Donald Garl and Joseph Garl. Calling hours will be from 3 to 6 PM Friday, February 7, 2025 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Funeral mass will be at 11 AM Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Immaculate Conception Church with Father William Kraynak officiating (PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH). Entombment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Ravenna. In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to Immaculate Conception Church or EWTN, 5817 Old Leeds Road, Irondale, AL 35210.
