Helen M. (Pol) Roosa

Helen Marie Roosa 82 of Palmyra died Tuesday, June 28, 2011. She was born March 6, 1929 in Randolph, Ohio to the late Samuel and Blanche (Keller) Pol. Formerly of Atwater, she has lived in Palmyra since 1944 and had worked 34 years as a packer for Colonial Rubber. Survivors include her husband of 58 years Melvin Roosa, brothers Jerry Pol of Rootstown, Terry Pol of Barberton and Glenn Pol of FL and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 sister and 3 brothers. Calling hours will be from 2:30 PM to time of services at 3:00 PM Thursday, June 30, 2011 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel with Reverend William Snyder officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Shalersville.
