Helen E. (Queen) Ferrell

Helen E. Ferrell 86 of Ravenna passed away at her home Sunday, April 21, 2013. She was born on August 20, 1926 in Ellsworth, PA to the late Ernest and Gay (Dean) Queen.  Helen was a former member of Northfield Village Community Church, and Retired from Robinson Memorial Hospital in 1988 where she was a Dietary Aid.  She enjoyed bingo, playing Rook, spending the 4th of July at the family picnic, and going on family vacations. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband whom she married in 1974, Darl Ferrell, sons, Roger (Carol) Conard, Curtis (Lori) Conard both of Freedom, sister , Beatrice Greenlee of Northfield, bothers, Harold (Jean) Queen of FL, Gary (Sue) Queen of Bedford Heights, Wayne (Linda) of Twinsburg, grand children,  Dawn, Phillip, Karen, Jeremiah, step grandson, Greg, 9 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents she was preceded by step son, Gary Ferrell, sisters Ruby Male, Betty Montgomery, Maxine Lindsey, Sandra Haden, brothers, Marvin "Buster" and Oscar.  Calling hours will be held from 5-8 PM Thursday, April 25, 2013 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel.  The Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM Friday, April 26, 2013, at the Funeral Home with Rev. William Snyder officiating. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery, Twinsburg, Ohio.
