Helen M (Rhinehart) Kunar

Helen M. Kunar (Rhinehart) 94 of Ravenna passed away Thursday, February 16, 2012 at Robinson Memorial Hospital. She was born June 27, 1917 in Cuyahoga Falls to the late Ralph and Cora (Barker) Rhinehart. Helen worked on the family farm with her husband,  enjoyed playing cards and was a member of both the Frist United Methodist Church and Ravenna Senior Center.  She is survived by her daughter Dorothy (William) Thomas of Ravenna, sons Louis Paul Kunar of Ravenna, Larry (Ruth) Kunar of NC, Edward (Sandra) Kunar of Ravenna, Fred (Edna) Kunar of Salem, OH, 15 grand children, 38 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, sisters, Elizabeth Hayes of Ravenna, Arlene Smith of Ravenna, brothers Ralph Rhinehart of Ravenna, Richard Rhinehart of Brady Lake, and a special friend Mary Kay Kunar of Ravenna.  Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband Louis Kunar  October 1, 1994, daughter-in-law  Glenda Kunar, sister Barbara Hayes, brothers Fred and Ervin Rhinehart. Calling Hours will be held from 6 - 8 PM Sunday, February 19, 2012 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel.  Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, February 20, 2012 at the First United Methodist Church in Ravenna with Rev. Stephen Sparling will be officiating.  Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Park at a later date.  The family would like  to Thank the staff at Country Elegance and Robinson Memorial Hospital, for their Love and Care.
