Henry H Heiney Jr.

Henry H. Heiney Jr, 89 of Ravenna passed away Monday, January 17, 2011 at his home. He was born March 26, 1921 in Grantsville WV. to the late Howard and Retta (Hosey) Heiney. He served in the Navy during WWII, was a lifetime member of Blackhorse Baptist Church, worked for Rockwell Standard Steel for 27 years and the City of Ravenna for 15 years where he retired. Survivors include his daughter, Donna (Kevin King) Heiney of Ravenna, sons, Roger Heiney of Ravenna, Denny (Renee) Heiney of Fairlawn, Jeff (Andrea) Heiney of Ravenna, Chris Heiney of Ravenna, 14 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, sisters, Lela Reeder, Juanita Reynolds and Grace Wilson, all of Parkersburg, WV, Eleanor Ciarcia of Aurora, and Louise Newbrough of Brohard, WV.  Besides his parents he was preceded by his wife Oleta L. Heiney, daughter, Mary Tschantz, son, Ronald G. Heiney Sr, brothers, Forest L. Heiney of Tanner, WV, Don Heiney, Doyle Glen Heiney and Charles Frances Heiney Sr, all of Grantsville, Denver Heiney of Byron, MI, sisters, Geneva Snider of Grantsville, WV and Marie Mascoline of Bedford, OH. Calling hours will be held from 4 - 8 PM Thursday, January 20, 2011 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel.  Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Friday, January 21, 2011 with Pastor Dallas Sanford will be officiating.  Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Park Ravenna, OH.  The family would like to Thank the Akron General Visiting Nurse Service and His Home Health Aid, Rochelle,  Donations can be made the any Hospice center of donors choice.
