Hobart B. "Buddy" Ayers

Hobart B. "Buddy" Ayers, 72, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away July 25, 2026 at the Western Reserve Hospital in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Buddy was born August 1, 1953 in Johnson Crossroads, WVA to the late Benny and Christine (Thompson) Ayers. He has lived in Cuyahoga Falls the past three years and was formerly of Kent. He was a roofer by trade working for several different companies and was a motorcycle enthusiast, so much that he was a member of Northcoast XII MC out of Akron. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Patty and Lisa Ayers. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Maura H. Meagher-Ayers whom he married June 25, 2011, his children Robert Fritz Ayers, Lori Ayers, Kari Jo (Heath) Blanton, Danae Ayers, Brad Wagner, 11 grandchildren, two great grandchildren and siblings Libby Baney, Shirley Methaney, Mary Ickes and Ray Ayers. In honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place and private family services will be held at the Ayers-Bowden-Walker Family Cemetery in West Virginia.
