Homer B. Frame 89, a resident of Atwater for the past 45 years, died Thursday, March 19, 2015 at home with his loving family around him. He was born May 6, 1925 in Corley, WV to Nathan Goff and Eva (Brown) Frame. He was a US Navy veteran of WWII participating in the Normandy invasion. Homer was a barber, welder and owner of Frame Auto Wrecking and Towing. He was a member of the Charity Lodge #530 in Deerfield, where he was a past worshipful master. Survivors include his daughters June D'Augostino of Suffield and Rosalee Wolford of Atwater, son Gary A. Frame of Atwater, 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, sister Mary Krueger of Edinburg and brother George Frame of Atwater. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Cleo in 2011, sons Steven and Danny Frame, granddaughter Tracy Ladd, 2 sisters and 3 brothers. Calling hours will be from 11 AM to time of service at 1 PM Monday, March 23, 2015 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Pastor Harold Greenleaf will officiate. Burial will follow in Atwater Cemetery in Atwater, Ohio.
