Howard F. Croop

Howard F. Croop 60 of Ravenna passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at Longmeadow Care Center in Ravenna following a courageous 6 year battle with ALS. He was born September 16, 1962 in Ravenna to Bert A. and Barbara (Butcher) Croop. Howard was a member of the Ravenna American Legion, a truck driver for F.A.B.E.T. waste management and an equipment operator for Kent State University. Survivors include his wife of 38 years Tina (DiCenzi), children Nicole and Cody Croop, mother Barbara Croop and siblings Julie (Scott) Reber and Michael Croop. He was preceded in death by his father Bert Croop and grandparents Howard and Angeline Croop and French and Lottie Butcher. There will be no calling hours or services, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, March 12 at the Ravenna American Legion from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.  The family would like to thank the staff at Longmeadow Care Center and the many friends of Howard for their love and support.
