Howard R. "Red" Walls

Howard R. "Red" Walls  73 of Streetsboro passed away Saturday August 4, 2012 at his residence surrounded by his family.  He was born December 14, 1938 in Bruceton Mills, WV and has lived in Streetsboro  since 1971.  Red retired after 44 years from the Ford Motor Company  in Walton Hills where he worked in maintenance.  He was  a former member of the Streetsboro Eagles,  enjoyed bowling, playing cards  and his  casino trips .  He also loved sports especially the Cleveland Browns and Indians.  Survivors include his wife Nellie (Alley) Walls whom he married in 1959, his children Howard (Carolyn) Davis of Ravenna, Frankie (Showna) Davis of Newton Falls, Connie (Robert) Sinsell of Shalersville, Sandra Tate of Garrettsville, Sherri Walls of Mantua, 13 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, brothers Jack Martin of  TN, Fred Martin of WVA, sisters Evelyn Martin of WVA and Linda Talbert of TX.  He was preceded in death by his  mother and step father Vernon and Helen Martin.   Calling hours will be 2-4 & 6-8 PM Tuesday August 7, 2012 at the Shorts-Spicer-Crislip-Crislip Funeral Homes Streetsboro Chapel where funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday Augusdt 8, 2012 with Rev.
