Ida A (Wells) Shadonix

Ida Ann Shadonix, 83, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2012. She was surrounded by her family . Ida is survived by her children John R. (Suzanne) Shadonix of Tucson, Mark E. Shadonix (Louise) San Diego, Barbara (Mark A. Longo) of Tucson, eight grandchildren and one great -grandchild. Ida was preceded in death by John, her husband of 34 years and Don Warner, her partner in Don's Cabinets for 23 years. Ida loved her life in Ravenna and never missed the parade. She and Don were often seen dancing at Johnny's Hide-A -Way and playing cards Friday nights with their friends at the Moose Club. They had so many lunches at East Park they even had their own table. Ida will be remembered for her sparkling smile, her great devotion to her family and her love and respect for the beauty of nature and the companionship of animals. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 6-8 PM at the Shorts Spicer Crilsip Funeral Home, Ravenna Chapel, where a funeral service will be held on Friday at 11 AM . Burial will follow immediately at Evergreen Cemetery in Streetsboro.
