Inge B. (Schiermeyer) Ross

Inge B. Ross 85 of Aurora died Sunday, March 22, 2015. She was born February 2, 1930 in Germany to Friedrich W. and Berta Anna (Meta) Schiermeyer. Mrs. Ross was the former owner of Babkas Tavern in Twinsburg. Survivors include her sons Klaus (Phyllis) Koennecke of Newton Falls and Greg (Helen) Ross of Aurora, grandchildren Kirk (Susie) Koennecke, Kyle Koennecke and Haley Ross, great grandchildren Kate, Grace, Colin and Harper Koennecke and Katie and Stephanie Petovello, sisters Ilse (Peter) Richter and Edith Warcaba both of Germany and many nieces and nephews in Ohio and Germany. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother Horst Schiermeyer. Calling hours will be from 10 AM to time of memorial service at 11 AM Saturday, April 4, 2015 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel. Private burial will take place in Aurora City Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials to Crossroads Hospice, 3743 Boettler Oaks Drive, Suite E, Green, OH 44685.
