Irene Gail Sandlin

Irene “Gail” Sandlin, age 70, of Ravenna passed away on March 6, 2017. Irene was born on October 29, 1946 in Chicago, IL, she then moved to Ravenna. Irene retired from GE, after 20 years of service. She enjoyed gardening, and was known for having the most beautiful yard in the neighborhood. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe W. Sandlin, and her mother Irene, and by her brothers: Ronnie, Larry, and Michael Smith. Irene is survived by her daughter Tina Sandlin, her sons James (Patricia) Sandlin, and Thomas (Mary) Sandlin. Her memory is also cherished by her 3 grandsons: TJ, Zachary, and Jacob. Additional survivors include her brothers; Roger Smith, Paul Smith, Chris Smith, and Tim Mushow. As per Irene’s wish, a cremation and private service has taken place.
