Iris J. Pillow 81 of Ravenna passed away Sunday September 19, 2010 at Longmeadow Care Center in Ravenna, Ohio. She was born June 20, 1929 in Paintsville, KY to the late Sanford and Minnie (Qualls) Collins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Willis "Bill" Pillow in 2008 and sister Ruby Frisbee. Survivors include her children Larry (Sharon) Pillow of Newton Falls, Ohio, Barbara (Burley) Hedrick of Hamilton, WVA, Donna Dawson of Rootstown, Ohio, grandchildren Cindy Mullins, Buddy Hedrick, Jamie Dawson, Mindy Pillow, great grandchildren Tiffany, Kristopher, Caleb, Shane, Dalton, Cameron and new great grandbaby to be, brothers Junior Collins of Columbus, OH, Tilson Collins of Paintsville, KY and sister Edith Gillum of Columbus, OH. Private family services were held Wednesday September 22, 2010 at Maple Grove Cemetery Ravenna, Ohio. Funeral services were entrusted to Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel.
