Jack Delano Stewart

Jack Delano Stewart, 84, of Rootstown, transitioned from this life to eternal rest, leaving a void in our hearts and a legacy of love on Monday, September 30, 2024. Jack was born in Reedy, West Virginia, on January 28, 1940, to the late Harry A. and Lula E. (Hornbeck) Stewart. He had lived in Rootstown for the past 49 years and was a veteran of the US Marines. He attended The Chapel in Akron. In 1997, he retired after 30 dedicated years of work for the House of LaRose in Akron. Jack was also a dedicated fan of the Cleveland Browns, West Virginia college football, and the Cleveland Guardians. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 61 years, Jeanette R. (Boltz) Stewart, whom he married on March 16, 1963, his daughters Deborah (Russell) Corwin and Carolyn (Fred) Higgins,  grandchildren Russell (Jessica) Corwin II, Gabrielle (Drew) Durbin, Madelyn (Maor Lazra) Corwin, Jaret Corwin, Nicholas Corwin, and Ethan Higgins, as well as great-grandchildren Russell Corwin III, Violet Corwin, Everette Corwin, Trace Durbin, and Cade Durbin. He touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed. Jack will be remembered for his kind spirit, unwavering faith, and love of family.
