James A "Fats" Shrewsberry

James A. "Fats" Shrewsberry 88 of Ravenna passed away Thursday December 10, 2020 at Vista Veranda in Ravenna.  On April 6, 1932, Fats was born in Basin, West Virginia to the late Oscar and Ollie (Blankenship) Shrewsberry.  Living in Ravenna since 1957 Fats was a proud owner and operator of Shrewsberry Trucking.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Rosa Irene Shrewsberry on December 4, 2001 and his siblings Clarence, Claude, Samuel, Charles and Bertha.  Survivors include his daughter Garnet Cooper, step children Mary Dailey, Bob (Jackie) Cooper, Linda Willis, William (Sandi) Cooper, Beth Anne Shrewsberry, his siblings Raymond Shrewsberry, Leroy Shrewsberry, Twila Shrewsberry, Kathleen Perkins, Hester Mills and many step grandchildren.  Due to the Corona virus private family services have been held at Maple Grove Cemetery Ravenna, Ohio.  Condolences and memories od Fats may be shared with his family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
