James Ray Hillis 67 of Kent passed away Friday, July 12, 2013 at Altercare of Hartville. He was born January 2, 1946 in Warren, Ohio to the late Kermit and Geneva (Wyatt) Hillis. Ray was a truck driver, and just recently was a handyman. He will be missed by his daughters, Marjorie Jane, Jodi, Jenna, sons, Jason, Josh, 8 grandchildren, a sister, Joyce Head, brothers, Paul (Carolyn) Blaine, Wade (Judy), Stanley (Barb), Keith, and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Jammie, brothers, Donald and Lyle. Cremation has taken place and a Private Family service was held. Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna handled the arrangements.
