James Downard Mccallum

James Downard McCallum 81 of Streetsboro, formerly of Aurora, died Monday, October 6, 2014. He was born August 20, 1933 in Brownsville, PA to Frederick N. and Ruby J. (McClelland) McCallum. James was a US Navy veteran, lifemember of the VFW and American Legion, worked as a Realtor and retired from Suburban Hospital where he was a Medical Technician working in virus research. Survivors include his wife of 57 years Joann (Novak), son Joseph (Lisa) McCallum of Streetsboro, 4 grandchildren and a brother Gerald R. McCallum of Brownsville, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Paul L. McCallum. Calling hours will be from 2 PM to time of service at 3 PM Thursday, October 9, 2014 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel. Leslie Kasper will officiate. Cremation will follow the service.
