James Leon Richardson

James Leon Richardson, 86 of Hartville, went to be with his Lord and Savior on October 9, 2021 after a long courageous battle with cancer. He was born on December 30, 1934 in Lakeworth, FL to the late James and Margery (Dorsey) Richardson. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a baby sister Geneveve and his first wife Mary. He will be sadly missed by his wife Elena, his children Sandra (Jimmy) McElwain, Cynthia Anderson, Beverly (Danny) Miller, J.D. Richardson and Jonathan (Patty) Richardson, step children Susan (Mike) Coulson and Michael (Tonya) Shahan, sister Donna Simpson, 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, 4 step grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends. Calling hours will be from 1:00 PM until time of funeral services at 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Pastor Anthony DiMarco will officiate. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Shalersville. The family would like to offer a special thank you to Mercy Hospice and to all who cared for Leon at Altercare of Hartville.
