James A. Roosa

James A. Roosa 80 of Ravenna passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at UH Portage Medical Center. He was born November 7, 1941 in Ravenna to August H. and Charlotte Ann (Clark) Roosa. He was preceded in death by his brother Wayne Roosa and daughter Rebecca Roosa. James was a US Army veteran and worked as a welder for Waltco. He was an inventor and jack of all trades, who enjoyed hunting and fishing and never missed the Canfield Trader Days. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles with friends. Survivors include his sons Kenny Roosa and William Roosa, 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and brothers John Roosa and Russell Roosa. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held at 6 PM on Friday, June 24, 2022 at the Ravenna American Legion.
