James E. Tasker

James E. Tasker 58 of Mineral Ridge died Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Boardman. He was born May 22, 1956 in Morgantown, WV to Dannie M. and Leona (Turner) Tasker. James was an avid Pittsburgh Pirate and Ohio State Buckeye fan. He worked as a horse trainer, worked at DHL and the Rootstown Schools. Survivors include his wife of 28 years Celeste (Skaleris), daughter Katrina Maria (Jessey) King of Campbell, OH, son Zachary James Tasker of Mineral Ridge, mother Leona Tasker of Wayland, sister Carolyn Lee of Wayland, brothers Richard of Wayland, William (Cindy) of Brimfield, David (Katie) of Wayland and Ray (Stacey) of Champion and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be from 6 - 9 PM Friday, October 17, 2014 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Funeral  services will be at 2 PM Saturday, October 18, 2014 at the funeral home with Rev. Brad Edder officiating. Burial will folow in Hawley Cemetery in Paris Township.
