Jane B Bernhard

Jane Ellen Bernhard, 81 of Brimfield, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at the Summit Corners Assisted Living in Macedonia. Jane was born on December 19, 1944 in Cleveland to her late parents Frank and Monica (Smith) Hayes. She was the owner of several day cares in Streetsboro and Brimfield, sold real estate and was the owner of an Art Gallery in Aurora. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Bernhard who passed away in 1994, and her brother Michael Hayes who passed away in 2012. Jane is survived by her children Michelle Beachy, Timothy (Laura) Bernhard and Jeff (Jodi) Bernhard, and her grandchildren Ethan, Eric, Patrick, and Andrew Bernhard and Olivia and Cecelia Messina, and her siblings Patricia Japel, Katalin Gale Bednarek and Fred E. Hayes. In honoring Jane's request, cremation will take place and she will be laid to rest with her parents and brother at Evergreen Cemetery in Streetsboro on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at 10:00am.
