Jane P. (Martin) Schaefer

Jane P. Schaefer 70 of Ravenna passed away Monday, March 31, 2025 at Tamarack Ridge in Brimfield. She was born November 13, 1954 in Ravenna, Ohio to George E. and Eleanor F. (Knapp) Martin. Survivors include her husband Wayne Alan Schaefer and sisters Ann (Bob) Smith and Cheryl Brainard. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Susan (David) Walters. Jane was a member of Immaculate Conception Church. As a Portage County Adult Probation Officer, Jane graduated from the Hiram College weekend program while working full time. Cremation has taken place. Memorial calling hours will be held at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel from 4:30 PM until time of memorial service at 6:30 PM on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 with Bill Wisniewski officiating.
