Jane Petrella, 81 of Kent, died Thursday June 4, 2015 at Altercare of Brimfield. She was born in Ravenna on May 1, 1934 to the late Albert C and Eunice (Lawrence) DeLeone. Jane graduated from Ravenna High School and was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Kent.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Matthew Petrella and a brother David DeLeone. She is survived by her husband Paul Sr., sons Dominic Michael Petrella and Paul Joseph (Ivana) Petrella, Jr., twin daughters Ann and Darrell Guariniello (Petrella) and Laura Petrella and Edward Ruper (Petrella), 12 grandchildren, 1 great grandson and sisters Alberta Carlin (Grant) and Patricia Pappano (Dan). She also leaves behind many special nieces and nephews. Jane leaves behind Toby her special boxer puppy and Dudley her favorite cat. Jane loved her husband Paul, children and all her grandchildren. She was an avid reader and loved gardening and spending time in her garden and greenhouse. She also loved all kinds of music.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will take place at a later date. The family requests donations be made in Jane’s memory to the American Heart Association.
