Janet L. (Thompson) Fisher

Janet L. Fisher, 67, of Edinburg Twp. passed away Tuesday March 5, 2019 at University Hospitals of Cleveland.  She was born February 11, 1952 in Ravenna, Ohio to the late Earl and Marie  (Thomas)  Thompson.  She has lived in Edinburg since 1984 and was formerly of Rootstown.  Janet loved going to Vegas, enjoyed riding golf carts  and loved spending time with her basset hounds, Willie and Sam.  Survivors include her husband, Donald J. Fisher whom she married May 8, 1976, her children Cynthia (Keith) Olesh, Donald J. (Leslie) Fisher, II, her grandsons who were her heart and soul, Nathan, Joseph, Ryan, Seth, her siblings Carl (Sharon) Thompson, Phyllis Tarr, Gloria (Jerry) Bradfield and many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Bernice Harris.  Calling hours will be Friday March 8, 2019 from 5-8 PM at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral  Homes Ravenna Chapel where funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday March 9, 2019 with Father Edward Stafford Officiating.  Burial will follow in Edinburg Twp.
