Janice R. Brown 73 of Ravenna died Saturday, March 5, 2016. She was born February 14, 1943 in Akron, Ohio to Paul and Virginia (Moreland) Abernathy. A Ravenna resident for 34 years, she was a member of Maplewood Christian Church and had worked for H&W Industries. Survivors include her hsband of 48 years Leo "Lee" H. Brown, daughters Virginia Day of Kent and Janice Ferrara of Ravenna, son Lee E. Brown of Ravenna, 15 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, mother Virginia Wagner of Monroe Falls and siblings Daphne True, Marilyn Brazelton and Paul Abernathy all of Stow. Sh ewas preceded in death by her father, daughters Marsha Pealer and Sandra Nichols and son Ronnie Kneeves. There wil be no calling hours or services at this time, cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel.
