Jean E. Gilley 96 of Twin lakes, passed away Monday December 29, 2014 at her residence.  She was born July 30, 1918 in Browns, Illinois to the late Albert and Clara (Hortin) Walton.  Mrs. Gilley has lived in Twin lakes since 1953 and  was a former member of the Kent United Methodist Church.  She retired from Franklin Twp. Elementary School where she was a teacher.  Her true passion was gardening where she was a member of the Twin lakes and Kent Garden Club and also volunteered at the Kent State Museum.   Survivors include her children Janice (Walt) Pumo of Annandale, VA, Stephen (Virginia) Gilley of Streetsboro, her grandchildren Stephanie Gilley, Jennifer Snyder, Elizabeth Price, Valeria Piazza, Laura Pumo, Bob Pumo, ten great grandchildren and her sisters Betty Schomburg and Rebecca Gresham both of Florida.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Steven M. Gilley in 1994.  Calling hours will be 1 PM until time of funeral services at 2 PM on Friday January 2, 2015 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Streetsboro Chapel with Rev.
