Jennifer E (Kittle) Grafton

September 27, 1953 — December 21, 2021

Ravenna

Jennifer E. Grafton, 68 of Streetsboro, passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at the UH Portage Medical Center in Ravenna. Jennifer was born on September 27, 1953 in Anchorage, Alaska to the late Norman and Joan (Vanscoy) Kittle.  She was raised in northeast Ohio and was a member of the Ravenna High School Class of 1972.  For most of her career, she worked as office manager of the Grafton Machine & Rubber Company in Ravenna.  Her love for travel, adventure and fellowship was surpassed only by her passion for her family and especially her grandchildren, to whom she was affectionately known as Gigi.

Jennifer had a gift for connecting with others and bringing people together.  She was beloved by her Ravenna High classmates as well as the many people she met along her life’s travels.  You could often find Jennifer seeking out sunshine on a boat in the summer months, whether on the lake or at sea.  Jennifer is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 46 years, Montgomery G. Grafton, her children Monty G. Grafton (Jacklyn Barnette)  and Jenica L. (Matt) Pickney, grandchildren Evelynn Grace, Benjamin Alexander and Christian Montgomery Pickney, sister-in-laws Linda Baldasare, Tammy Thompson, Jackie Giulitto, and Tracy Myers, her many nieces, nephews and cousins, and her uncle Richard Vanscoy.

Private family services will be held on Tuesday, December 28th at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna and burial will take place at Grandview Memorial Park in Ravenna. Condolences and memories of Jennifer can be shared with her family at sscfuneralhomes.com.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Jennifer Grafton Memorial Fund at Ezell-Harding Christian School by visiting ezellharding.com/give or by check mailed to 574 Bell Road, Antioch, TN 37013.  Jennifer was inspired by the school’s mission to help each student realize the full potential God has instilled in him or her.
