Jerry C. Spinelli

Jerry C. Spinelli  84 of Streetsboro died Wednesday, February 15, 2017. He was born November 11, 1932 in Ravenna, Ohio to Michael A. and Anna A. (Stianche) Spinelli. Jerry worked as a dispatcher for AC&Y railroad. He was a US Air Force veteran and a member of the Ravenna VFW serving a past Commander, Ravenna American Legion, Ravenna Moose, Italian American Society, Ravenna and Streetsboro Eagles serving as past President of both and was a co-founder of the Streetsboro Eagles. Survivors include his children Patricia Gail Spinelli of Newton Falls, Jerry J. Spinelli of Shalersville, Toni Sue (Geoffrey) Willa of Streetsboro, Richard C. (San) Spinelli of Streetsboro and Virgil F. (Kelly) Spinelli of Solon, 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and sisters Ellamae Oaks of Lake Milton, Annabelle Surace of Sagamore Hills, Donna Croasmun of Ravenna and Barb Braden of Ravenna. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Marjorie. Private family services have been held. Jerry's message was "He was born, he had fun, he died, no regrets." Arrangements have been entrusted to Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel.
