Jessie C Moore, Sr

Jessie C. Moore, Sr., 95 of Ravenna, passed away at the Summit Point Senior Living on Wednesday, February 3, 2021. He was born June 18, 1925 in Davidson, Tennessee to the late Sam and Kate (Cooley) Moore. Jessie was a proud service member of the U.S. Navy, where he served in WWII. He had worked for Bender Loudin Motor Freight in Cleveland as a truck driver and retired after 37 years. In addition to his parents, Jessie is preceded in death by his wife Gladys Moore in 1996, his son Jessie Moore, Jr.,  four sisters and one brother. He is survived by his children Larry G. Moore, his grandchildren Barbara, Jessie III, David, Toni and Brenda, Many great grandchildren and  great great grandchildren. Per his request, cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Streetsboro on February 10, 2021 at 11:00 AM.  The family would like to thank the staff at Summit Point for their care and a special thank you to Justin "Jack" and Clarisse for the care of their father.  Condolences and memories of Jessie can be shared with his family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
