Jinny L. (Batsch) Smallfield

Jinny L. Smallfield 65 of Ravenna passed away Tuesday May 5, 2015 at her residence with her family by her side.  She was born January 1, 1950 in Ravenna to the late James and Norma (Bartholomew) Batsch.  Jinny has lived in Ravenna most of her life and retired from the Ravenna City School System.  She had also worked at the Western Reserve Spine and Pain in Kent.  She was a member of the Rootstown United Methodist.  Survivors include her children Lori Artz of Ravenna, Jake (Jen) Smallfield of Ravenna, Eric (Leigh) Smallfield of Hartville, her grandchildren David James, Jaden, Emerson, Elliott, Allie, Lainey, Michael and her sisters Patricia Fillmore and Peggy Cavnah.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John R. Smallfield II on July 6, 2005.  Calling hours will be 12 PM Saturday May 9, 2015 until time of memorial services at 3:00 PM at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel.
