Joan C. Arrington Butler

Joan C. Arrington Butler, 79, of Nashville, TN formerly of Ravenna, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 8, 2022.  She was born on June 14, 1942 in Beardsfork, WV to Herman and Mary (Dickerson) Morris.  Joan worked for many years at the General Electric Lamp Plant in Ravenna.  Joan loved her family and friends dearly. Joan is survived by her son James (Sarah Anne) Arrington, Jr., siblings Brenda Sue Morris, Nile Terry (Joan) Morris, Allen (Debbie) Morris, Michael (Shirley) Morris, and Lyle (Patricia) Morris, along with her loving nieces and nephews Kellie, Amber, Jason, Christopher, Shaun and Teddy. Joan was preceded in death by her parents, her step-mother Alice Morris, and her husband Arlie Glyn Butler. Calling hours and private services have been held. Burial was in Grandview Memorial Park in Ravenna. In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
