Joan M (Fredrick) Seigerst-Kimble

Joan M. (Seigerst) Kimble, 85 of Twinsburg, passed away Thursday December 28, 2017 at the Cleveland Clinic.  She was born March 3, 1932 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Leonard and Ethel (Kloz) Fredrick.  Ms. Kimble recently of Twinsburg had previously lived in the Kent and Ravenna areas since 1955.  She had retired as a Registered Nurse working for Aurora Manor in 2003 but also had worked at several area nursing homes and Robinson Memorial (UH Portage Medical) Hospital in Ravenna.  She was the past president of the Ravenna Dandelions, a historian for the Ravenna Garden Club, a member of the Women's Club of Kent and  a 25 year member of the Ravenna Choir.   Ms. Kimble was also a member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Kent.  She leaves to cherish her memory are her children, Kathy (Larry) Rothenberg-James, Shari Jesko, E. Gary Seigerst, Linda Seigerst-Hunter, her grandchildren Lauren Jesko, Alex Jesko, Emily Hunter, her great grandson Logan Newton and  brother Alan Fredrick.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Lynn Light.  Calling hours will be from 6-8 PM Thursday January 4, 2018 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel and on Friday from 12:30 until time of funeral services at 1:30 at the Faith Lutheran Church in Kent with Pastor  Ronald Bergen Officiating.  Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery Ravenna, Ohio.  The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations please be made to  Faith Lutheran Church 931 E.
